### Playtesting Methodology
Remote playtesting sessions with feedback forms was the approach used for the playtesting of the Kaiju Kanvas digital prototype. The development of the prototype was focused on creating an early working version of the painting system, which is a fundamental component of the gameplay loop. Playtesting elements were developed around this focus on the core painting mechanic. Since the painting gameplay is integral to the game experience, it was important to playtest it via this digital prototype to determine a couple of crucial factors such as the feasibility and fun factor of such a mechanic. The digital prototype produced for Kaiju Kanvas is unfortunately not uniquely identifiable from other painting games as it doesn’t yet feature Kaiju gameplay as I did not have the time to develop it.

### Playtesting Procedure

Unfortunately I started playtesting very late during production, although I sent it out to a portion of people I was only able to get one person to complete the playtest I had prepared. The particpant that I recruited was from the same cohort and I had also previously completed their own playtest so they were happy to playtest for me. All participants were required to fill out a consent form prior to the playtest to ensure they were comfortable to proceed with it. The following is the consent form that was used for playtesting:

Once they had completed the consent form they were able to proceed with the playtesting session and was provided with the latest build of the digital prototype. Playtesting lasted around 5 minutes afterwhich the participant could then proceed onto the questionnaire.
